WHAT INSURANCE SHOULD I GET FOR WINTER SPORTS?
  • ESF doesn't insure anyone, we recommend you purchase "Carré Neige" Insurance which will cover you in the event of an accident or illness

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TRIP IS CANCELLED?

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED AT VAL D'ISÈRE?
  • Our online reservation system accepts all major credit cards except Diner's Club & American express.

RESERVATION 

Don't understand certain error messages during online checkout? 
Below you will find answers to the different error messages that could pop up

THERE ARE NO LESSONS AVAILABLE MATCHING YOUR search CRITERIA 
  • Try picking Saturday as the start date of your stay to verify there aren't other possibilities 

lessons are full, we no longer have any avAILABLE
  • This means it's too late to make a reservation (online reservations close 3 days before the start of lessons and sometimes earlier during school holidays) or our lessons are fully booked, you will need to reserve your lessons directly at the ESF office when you arrive, depending on availability

YOUR AGE DOESN'T CORRESPOND TO THE LESSON SELECTED
  • We calculate the number of months between the birthdate of your child and the date of lessons to confirm that they are right for your child's age
  • The age that is taken into consideration is their age the 1st day of lessons and not the date you made the reservation, which is why the error message may seem odd when in actuality it's correct 

LIFT PASSES 

DO I REALLY NEED A LIFT PASS?
Lift passes are not required for: 
  • Children signed up for the Snow Garden
  • Children signed up for Ourson or Flocon preparation lessons. Your instructor will let you know the night before if your child needs to purchase a lift pass, depending on the progress they've made and if they're ready
  • Adult skiers/ snowboarders who are beginners. Your instructor will let you know if you need to purchase a lift pass, depending on your progress and weather conditions
